About Elisabeth Reed
Elisabeth brings a unique comprehensive knowledge of spatial planning and interior architecture to the art of interior design. She worked as the Interior Designer for Scott S Turnipseed, AIA, a full-service design/build firm in Eagle, CO for eight years. Having been a part of a design/build team, Elisabeth understands the level of collaboration that must occur between architect, interior designer, and contractor in order for a job to proceed smoothly. She is most well-versed in new residential construction, though she has enjoyed working on several residential and office remodeling projects as well.
A native of Colorado, her love of travel, painting, music, sport, and the outdoors, all helps to inform her work with discerning clients throughout and beyond the Vail Valley. Incorporating a client's personality and lifestyle into their home is Elisabeth's favorite aspect of the design process. It is her belief that a successfully designed and decorated home will be a reflection of its owner.
Elisabeth attended the University of Colorado where she received a Bachelor of Science in Design Studies from the School of Architecture and Planning and a Bachelor of Violin Performance from the School of Music. Interiors on which Elisabeth has collaborated have been published in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles and Western Art and Architecture. She is an Associate Member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
